Do you dream of walking down the red carpet? Perhaps you wish you were the one putting an entire studio audience into hysterics? Does appearing on the big screen bring back childhood aspirations? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then take an Actor VocationVacation which will help you take your first steps to possibly making your dreams a reality! Your mentor, Jack Plotnick, is a well-established actor in Los Angeles. A true renaissance man – not only is he an actor, comedian and acting instructor, but he’s also a writer, director and producer. He does it all and he does it all well. Through his acting workshops, Jack has been changing the lives of actors on both coasts for many years. Now you can have a personal, two-day, one-on-one, eye opening Actor VocationVacations with him. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Jack has lived and worked in Los Angeles since 1994 – working his way up from performing comedy in run-down coffee shops to producing his own television show. Jack’s acting resume is quite impressive. You will recognize him from such television shows as Ugly Betty, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Reno 911, Ellen, Las Vegas, NYPD Blue and lends his voice to Comedy Central's Drawn Together. Furthermore, Jack has been in movies like Meet the Fockers alongside Ben Stiller, Gods and Monsters with Ian McKellan, Down with Love and Say It Isn’t So. He also performs at the US Comedy Arts Festival, Caroline’s Comedy Club in New York, HBO Workspace, NBC Workspace and Comedy Central Stage. And don’t be surprised when you see him in some great commercials. Talk about a busy, successful guy! In addition to acting, Jack is pursuing his passion as a producer. He was a series regular and supervising producer on the Lifetime series, Lovespring International. Jack also executive-produced and starred in the feature film, Girls Will Be Girls, released theatrically by IFC Films, and now on video by MGM. Along with his two co-stars, Jack won 2003’s Best Actor Awards from LA’s Outfest Film Festival and the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. So if you want a great Actor mentor, Jack’s the man for the job.
